Math & More Math

I guess the page tells the story here so I won't write any more other than the fact that Joshua was not the greatest student in Elementary, Middle and High School, but he absolutely loves College and is doing extremely well and we are very proud of him.Credits: Blue Tag and Paper - Bluebell Kit by Lindsay Jane Designs;

Valentine's Day Visit By Elvis

Lee sent a Singing Elvis Telegram to me at work on Valentine's day. I was totally surprised because he has never done anything remotely like that before. My entire office was outside watching him serenade me - and he was actually very good!! Here are a couple of videos my co-workers made with cell phones. Here is Teddy Bear:

I got several comments the following day from co-workers saying to thank my husband for sending Elvis because they had so much fun watching him! One girl even sent me this email:

Good morning Dana. Please thank your husband for livening up my Valentines Day. I had such a great time watching Elvis, I feel like he sent the telegram to us all. Ha ha ha We all benefited.

Here is Love Me Tender:

This last one is Love Me Tender again - but from a different angle and a different cell phone.

I am planning on making a digital scrapbook page with some pictures that were also taken on coworkers' cell phones. I will post it here soon. Overall, it was a blast and a wonderful Valentine's Day surprise. And by the way, Elvis is one of Lee's co-workers who put himself through college doing this sort of thing.

Jeremy is 20!

Jeremy turned 20 last week. It is hard to believe that we now have 2 kids in their twenties!! Makes me feel kind of old when I think about it. Well, at least we still have a 12- and a 13-year old to get "all grown up"!! Here are a few pictures from the last-minute birthday dinner we took Jeremy to last week.

Our Family

Lee's grandfather and two of Lee's Aunts were in town a couple of Saturdays ago and we met them for breakfast at Village Inn. This has come to be a regular meeting place whenever he comes to town. There was a lot of picture-taking going on and they wanted one of all of us so I took the chance to have them take a picture with my camera. It's not very often that we are all in a picture together!! This is the family!

Gold Belt

Jenna successfully tested for and received her Gold Belt in Karate last Saturday. She was a very happy girl!! And we were very proud parents!
