I just organized my old fabric remnants using comic book backer boards. I had seen this on Pinterest several times and finally decided to do it myself. Mine does not look nearly as color-coordinated as some, but it is a LOT better than it was. Unfortunately, I didn't think to get a before picture.
Here are my ribbons, string, and fibers. I'm loving these glass jars! Not sure how that one skein of yarn got in there....
And here it sits. My parents "antiqued" this way back in the 70's. I love how, over the years, the knots in the wood came through the finish.
OMG! some of my owl collection from when I was in high school! I thought I had gotten rid of them all.
This is what I actually want out of the store room today. It needs to be in my craft room!
Today I gave a goal. Get my old corner shelf unit out of the storage shed so I can get it into my craft room. Ugh!
