Day 57 of 365 - My button jar
I have collected quite a variety of buttons for both scrapbooking and sewing. I also ended up with several cool jars to store stuff in. So today, I put my buttons in this jar and thought they looked so pretty I decided to get a picture of them.

This is one of the best bargains I ever got. It was on clearance at Target for $60 - regular $120. We've used it for about 9 10 years now!

Sometimes on the way to work, we see the most spectacular sunrises. Sometimes, however, it is just a big glare right in our faces. Today was kind of a combination of both.

Went to a high school hockey game tonight. It was Franklin vs Coronado. Unfortunately, Coronado won.

I almost forgot to take my daily picture today so I had to find something in the house to get. I used to have an owl collection when I was a kid, many years ago, and I recently got interested in steampunk, so when I found this steampunk owl of course I had to get it!

I got these on clearance several weeks ago for dirt cheap. But they've been just sitting in the kitchen ever since. I need to get my act together and either put them away or do something with them!

Craft room idea!
We've been talking about getting rid of this massive junk catching entertainment center for awhile now. But I just decided that instead of buying the big cabinet I saw at Whoopie Bowl Antiques for $500, I will repurpose this for my craft room and get rid of the cheapy laminated particle board cabinets I have in there now. I can adjust the shelves to whatever height I want, add new ones, line the glass doors so stuff is hidden, create nice, pretty boxes to put on the exposed shelves. Yep, I think it will work! And best thing is it will cost nothing at all!
