Boxing Workout!!

About 2 or 3 months ago, Lee decided to take up his life-long dream of boxing. One of my co-workers is a member of a Jiu Jitsu gym where they also do some boxing training, and he thought Lee would like it for some reason, so mentioned it to me. Somehow the name of the trainer came up and it is Tom McKay, who, for 24 years, trained local kickboxing hero Cliff 'Magic' Thomas, 5 time World Champion. Lee has always admired Cliff Thomas and had actually met Mr. McKay several years ago because his son and grandson are BMX racers. Lee started the boxing training and absolutely loves it. He mentioned it to Jeremy, who started about a month later. Now, they work out together - boxing!! I stopped by on my way home from work and took some pictures. I was a little late to get much of the actual workout, so I made them pose. :)
Judging by the sweat, I would say they had a pretty good workout.

Camping-Fishing

This is an old layout from a camping/fishing trip we took with a bunch of our neighbors a few years ago.
I liked it so thought I would put it in here. I am currently working on a baby book for a co-worker so I have not been able to do much of my own scrapbooking lately. So, I am going through some older pages I've done so I can at least put SOMETHING out here!

Guest Musician

Lee's bass playing has really improved over the past few years. He went from being pretty unsure of himself to being able to substitute for another player in another band with less than a day's notice!!

Feeding the Homeless

This past weekend, my department from work did a community service project which was providing a meal at the local Opportunity Center. Lee came along to help too. Since I ALWAYS have my camera at hand, I took some pictures of the people that went to help. Here is our group picture. It was a very rewarding thing to do because the people were very grateful and complementary to us and made us feel good for helping them.
